Full Restore
Home
After receiving your request for service, we will arrange a convenient date and time to visit your home.
Once there, we will spend a few minutes with you to get the details of the problem with the computer, disconnect it and bring it to our shop for repair. We offer, for just $20, a laptop computer for you to use while we service your system. Note that the loaner is offered free of charge for first-time customers.
If there is important data in your computer (pictures, music, documents, video, etc.), we offer data backup for an additional $20. Please note that in the event of hard drive failure, data files may be irretrievable. See our Data Recovery page for more information.
We will then perform diagnostic tests to determine the cause of the failure. If the Operating System can be repaired without a Full Restore, you will only be charged our Clean and Check fee of $79, instead of $99. If we find that hardware in the computer has failed, we will research the part and contact you with options for the part's replacement. Please note that the ordering of replacement parts will lengthen the repair process.
After any hardware issues have been resolved, we reformat the hard drive, re-install the computer's Operating System, and restore backed up files to make your system run like new.
We will also install any third party software that you may provide as well as install anti-virus, all Windows Updates and more. This service includes all the features of our Clean and Check optimization.
Finally, your computer will be brought back to your home and re-installed for you. We will boot up the computer and confirm things are working as you expect. Your computer will be as good as new or better!
