After receiving your request for one of our services, you have the option to also receive one of our loaner laptops.
Upon removing your home computer, we will connect the laptop in a desirable location and show you how it works if necessary. Our laptops operate under the Windows XP operating system and come equipped with wifi which we will connect to your home network.
You may keep and use the laptop for as long as it takes our technicians to service your computer. While we typically complete repairs within 24-48 hours, some repairs require parts to be ordered and shipped from external locations. Since shipping times can vary between 3-10 business days, the laptop is a valuable option that allows you the use of a computer for the entire time for just $20.
When your service is complete and your computer has been reinstalled and verified to be working, the laptop will be collected.
Please note that our loaner laptops are a service to all our customers. We ask that our customers handle the laptops with care. If a laptop is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair, there is a replacement fee of $200. Minor damages may incur fees at the inspecting technician's discretion, though customers are never held responsible for hardware failure that is not the result of mishandling. Mishandling includes shock damage from drops or impact, water damage, burns, and tampering with the laptop's internal components. Use of software and websites are NEVER considered mishandling, even when virus or spyware activity is evident.
While we pride ourselves on our loaner program, we have a limited number of laptops and there may be times when we cannot provide one. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. If a laptop is requested but unavailable, we will take 10% off your repair bill for the inconvenience.
